James Gunn Doesn’t Have A Plan! THE DCU Is DOOMED

At this point, how much longer are we supposed to believe James Gunn? The promises, the announcements, the constantly changing direction, and the excuses are getting exhausting. The DCU was supposed to be a fresh start for DC fans, but instead, we're getting a universe that feels completely random, inconsistent, and increasingly difficult to take seriously. Let's be honest: does James Gunn actually have a vision for the DCU, or are we just watching him throw projects at the wall and hope something sticks? From a lineup that feels more like a collection of projects for friends and family than a carefully planned cinematic universe, to the bizarre priorities surrounding these movies and shows, there are some serious questions that need answering. How does Peacemaker seem to have more space-related elements than the actual Green Lantern series? Why is James Gunn still being unclear about whether the Joker even exists in his DCU? Where is Batman? Why are we continuing to get Batman villain spin-offs when we haven't even properly established the Dark Knight himself? And where is Wonder Woman?! Instead, we're getting projects that leave fans scratching their heads. We've already had to sit through what I consider the WORST superhero movie of the year with Supergirl, and somehow even Clayface is looking like it's outperforming it. That's a problem! I'm tired of the constant hype, the promises, and the statements that get DC fans excited, only for the actual results to leave us disappointed. At some point, words have to mean something, and James Gunn needs to be held accountable for the direction he's taking this universe. Personally, I think it's time for James Gunn to step away from the top DC Studios position. Let someone else handle the overall direction of the DCU. Gunn can focus strictly on Superman, because that's the one project where he's actually delivered something successful. DC NEEDS A PLAN. DC NEEDS CONSISTENCY. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, DC FANS DESERVE BETTER! 🔥 But what do YOU think? Am I being too hard on James Gunn, or is it time we admit that the DCU is becoming another major disappointment?
