In this video, I demonstrate all of the available tones on the System Sensor MA/SS-24D horn strobe. The MA/SS series is a classic line of fire alarm notification appliances known for its distinctive sounds and selectable tone options. This video showcases the different tones available on the MA/SS-24D and how the sound changes between settings. Tones demonstrated: 🔊 Slow Whoop 🔊 800 Hz Continuous 🔊 800/1000 Hz Alternating 🔊 2400 Hz Continuous 🔊 2400 Hz Interrupted 🔊 1200 Hz Interrupted 🔊 Swept Frequency 🔊 Fast Warble Important disclaimer: Some earlier versions of the System Sensor MASS series use breakaway tone tabs instead of removable/selectable clips. On those models, changing the tone can be a permanent modification because the tabs must be broken to select the desired sound. Once those tabs are broken, returning to a previous tone may not be possible without replacing parts or the device. The MA/SS-24D shown in this video uses the selectable tone clip design.
