Passage: 1 Timothy 4:1-5 Series title: Defeating Satan's lies The Christian life should be miserable. Anything you enjoy now means you don’t enjoy Jesus enough. Anything or anyone you love means you don’t love him with all your heart. You’re always robbing him of all glory. Nice things are a waste of money you could give to mission. Creation will all get burned up anyway. You can’t glorify God in the smallest things. All that matters is Spiritual Stuff. God doesn’t care about what you do on ordinary days. You have probably wasted most of your life already. Heaven will be one long prayer meeting, but hopefully less monotonous. --- Keswick Ministries exists to refresh the church with joy in Christ Jesus.
