The Sun Dance, an Eagle's Feather, and Life on the Road

The last chapter of this journey holds some of the most meaningful moments yet. I was deeply honored to take part in the Sundance ceremony by pulling an eagle feather — an experience that left me humbled and grateful. I also had the privilege of gifting one of the dancers with a star quilt, a gesture of respect and connection that I’ll carry with me always. From there, it was time to turn toward home. I had to pick up the van and make the long drive back across four states. Of course, the road had a few surprises for me — a little “van drama” along the way — but in the end, I made it home safe.
