Click here: http://tiny.cc/8u1e001 At the height of Jim Crow, when Black men were expected to stay in their place, Jack Johnson did the unthinkable: he dominated the ring, flaunted his wealth, and lived life on his own terms. But America wasn’t ready for a Black man who refused to bow. In 1908, the Mann Act was weaponized against him, criminalizing his relationships with white women. But it didn’t stop there. His case played a key role in the creation of the FBI, as federal agents were deployed to hunt him down. From brutal racism inside and outside the ring to the government hunting him down with the bogus charges, Johnson’s story is one of triumph, defiance, and the relentless fight against white supremacy. His fists shattered opponents, but his very existence shattered the myth of Black inferiority.
