An elegy to a well loved Tundra and sad farewell

A farewell to my Tundra. Early morning and I flew at Northwood, a gentle breeze, but no one else from NAF OFF were at the field, so I decided to go through to the Halswell Polo ground (they fly every day that ends in the letter Y.) Gave the Tundra the usual treatment, rolls, loops and inverts. Then, , . . .. ... .... ..... Uh-oh!! I do recall that I powered up the transmitter before the Tundra connected to the battery. Problem is, I was on the wrong model, so I changed the transmitter to the Tundra selection, and the model responded and ran all the pre flight actions. So off I went, flying up a storm, until I tried to fly away from the invert.Then, NADA, no resonse from the controls, the model was turning from the invert, and just went right on turning into the ground.
