Now You Can Talk With Mickey Mouse at Walt Disney World

Walt Disney World has introduced a new version of its iconic character Mickey Mouse inside the Opera House meet and greet in Town Square of the Magic Kingdom. The new Mickey Mouse not only has an articulated head (meaning the eyes, nose, and mouth are controlled as a puppet would be) but he also speaks directly with guests, sometimes even knowing their names ahead of time. I wonder if Walt Disney foresaw this in the future when he first created the character?
