I Thought I’d Lost My Chance… Then I Got a Call | SakshamConnects

Almost a month ago, I finished third at the Area Humorous Speech Contest. I was disappointed because only the top two contestants could move on to the Division level. I had accepted the result and moved on. Or at least, I thought I had. Then one morning, I received a phone call that changed everything. Suddenly, I had an opportunity I thought was gone. And strangely enough, getting that opportunity after accepting defeat made it mean even more to me.
