Gadrien's Tales: What Is This New WoR Game Mode?

My Discord:   / discord   Link to WoRs event:   / discord   *What exactly is Gadrien's Tales, and what is Watcher of Realms planning with this mysterious new tabletop adventure?* The official teasers have shown us dice, miniature figures, a map and some intriguing symbols, but there are still plenty of unanswered questions! In today's Watcher of Realms video, we're looking at the upcoming Gadrien's Tales game mode, exploring the clues released so far and discussing some of the theories shared by the WoR community on Discord. I've gone through the community's guesses and added my own thoughts about what these clues could mean. Could we be looking at a Dungeons & Dragons-inspired adventure, a new way of exploring the world of Tya, or something completely different? We'll also look back at some existing Watcher of Realms events and mechanics, including Ancestral Legacy, Siege of Tya and Synergy Cards. WoR has experimented with dice, board-game movement, card mechanics and map exploration before, so could any of those ideas have influenced Gadrien's Tales? And there's another question worth asking: *Who is Gadrien?* Is he a storyteller, an important figure in the lore, or someone we've yet to meet? For now, these are community theories and my own speculation, not confirmed gameplay details. That's what makes the discussion interesting! *Join the conversation:* What do you think Gadrien's Tales will be? Which community theory makes the most sense to you?
