OOP ? MAD $ for THE VINYL? Get it on CD !

*TOO MUCH FOR VINYL! Perfect for CD.* I’ve wanted some of these albums for YEARS. The problem? The vinyl prices have gotten absolutely ridiculous. I love vinyl. I love collecting records. But I also love actually owning the music, and I’m not willing to spend $100, $200, or even more just because an album happens to be scarce on vinyl. So I’m taking a different approach: *I’m buying the CDs.* In this episode of **The A/V Room**, I’m going through 10 albums that I’ve hesitated to buy on vinyl because of the price, rarity, or collector premium, and explaining why I’m perfectly happy hunting down the compact disc versions instead. And there are a couple of special cases along the way. It's about being a music collector without losing your damn mind over collector prices. Sometimes the best way to own an album is simply to *buy the format that doesn't cost a fortune.* *Do you have an album you've refused to buy on vinyl because the price is insane?* Tell me in the comments. I'd love to know what other collectors are hunting for on CD instead. Subscribe to *The A/V Room* for more music collecting, physical media, audio, vinyl, CDs, and all the weird rabbit holes that come with loving music.
