Visiting Moraine Lake [4K] - Moraine Lake | Lake Louise Ski Resort

Undeniably one of the most popular lakes in Canada, Moraine Lake is indeed an iconic beauty to behold. With its turquoise blue colour backdropped against the majestic Valley of the Ten Peaks, this lake has been a favorite subject among nature photographers and travelers. We have already visited this lake a few times (even way back when we can still park our own vehicles near the lake) but something about this gem will keep you coming back for one more visit. Moraine Lake access road is usually open from June to October each year, weather permitting. It used to be accessible to personal vehicles (except for guests checking in the Moraine Lake Lodge) until June 2023, when Parks Canada decided that the lake has become way too popular for tourists and the parking lot near the lake can no longer accommodate visitors. Hence, they consolidated all trips to both Lake Louise and Moraine Lake into shuttle bus services. The pros: efficient ride in between the two popular lakes in Banff, fares are cheap. The cons: you cannot choose the time you want to visit, reserving online can be a hassle since timeslots can fill up real quick (even as early as 8am, when the online slots open) and you need to plan way ahead if you plan to visit since the online reservations open 48 hours on the date of your planned visit. There are other means to visiting the lake, another cheap option which is the ROAM Transit and other not-really-cheap private bus tours. Aside from the lake, there are also known hike trails around the area, one of which is the Larch Valley Trail, very famous every autumn. #morainelake #canada #rockies #banffcanada Vlog Date: 25 June 2026 Shot on: Insta360 X5 and Insta360 Luna Ultra Music: 👉 Oceans and Summits by Alex-Productions | https://onsound.eu/ Royalty Free Music by https://www.free-stock-music.com Creative Commons / Attribution 3.0 Unported License (CC BY 3.0) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/... 👉 Music by Tarious Hill - Set On Love - https://thmatc.co/?l=B953C96C
