Jesse Lee - [New Concept EP] Citizen of Somewhere Else | Inspired by Nathaniel Hawthorne

“I am already a citizen of somewhere else.” Welcome to the full EP “Citizen of Somewhere Else”, a conceptual musical journey inspired by Nathaniel Hawthorne's autobiographical essay ‘The Custom-House’ from ‘The Scarlet Letter’. This album explores the profound struggles of modern life—balancing the heavy gray routine of making a living with the burning desire to create. From the suffocating reality of a dull office to the magnificent discovery of a “Parallel Universe” through art, this EP is a tribute to everyone who harbors a hidden creative spark in their hearts. Sometimes, what feels like a tragic fall is simply a disguise for grace, leading us to our truest destiny.
