Thule ProRide 598 Bike Rack Installation

I have always wanted to have a bike rack, so I don't need to fit the bike inside a car. Now I finally got it. I went for the Thule Proride 598 rack. I was considering different options: rear mounted and roof mounted. There were two deciding factors. If the bike is on the roof I have a clear access to the trunk. If the weather is bad bike behind a car will collect all the possible dirt. When I installed the rack I found out few import details that you might want to know if you are considering Thule ProRide.
