Vulcan Foundry 0-4-0DM WD 72229 Evening Shunt at the EARM

After the gates close at the East Anglian Railway Museum at the end of the day, the trains do not always stop. This shunt took place on the 9th April 2025 in preparation for the Essex Electrics Exhibition occurring on the 12th April 2025. As the EARM Class 04 is due to go into the shed to undergo some repairs, the freshly painted Vulcan Foundry 0-4-0DM WD 72229 was brought out of the shed for a running-in shunt. I think we can all agree it did magnificently well! Please note: This operation was carried out after public opening hours and access was achieved by being an EARM Volunteer working on this day.
