The "Rodeo" came to my crib and included collaborations with Future, Quavo, Young Thug, The Weeknd and many more. The project came out 9 years ago and sounds like it did THIS year. I got to enjoy this album for the first time, and let me just say I'm impressed. It was masterfully produced by Travis Scott himself and other industry producer GIANTS like Metro Boomin, Allen Ritter, WondaGurl and MIKE DEAN. True to his core, Travis Scott made so many waves in these beloved genres we call trap & hiphop! He gave us so many bars like "Good Lord, I see my good fortune in all these horses/I'm drivin' too fast to stop, so all these signs I ignore them/Just this guy from north of the border, my chips is in order" and he set a H-town tone with each track. 2015 was a great year for Travis being that this is his first critically acclaimed album. What a debut! Professor T.I aided the albums trap sounds with his spoken passage on "Apple Pie" featuring bars from Travis saying "H-Town, know we gon' stunt/I'm for real and your Rollie tick (Woah)". This album helped better my understanding of the carnival that is "Travis Scott". It gave real meaning to Travis Scott's perspective and the direction his music goes follows the same path... to the Rodeo. In his ever so raspy and textured voice, Travis said, "Touch down out in H-town, there it might get ugly! (WOO)!" Houston Texas stand up!!!
