A Strange Lizard Tricks a Snake With Its Fake Head

In the harsh Australian desert, a Thorny devil faces a series of unexpected encounters while searching for food and preparing a hidden nest. After feeding near an active ant colony, a Western Brown Snake mistakes the lizard’s unusual false head for its real one, only to be overwhelmed by the disturbed ants. Later, the Thorny devil digs deep underground, unexpectedly breaks into the burrow of a mother Spinifex hopping mouse and her newborn pups, and is quickly driven away.
