📍From 1966 to 1968, the Marines of the 3d Marine Division fought the bloodiest continuous front of the Vietnam War along the DMZ in northern Quang Tri Province. This documentary covers every major operation from Hastings and Prairie through the siege of Con Thien and Khe Sanh to the brutal fighting during Tet, naming the units and the men who held the line against an enemy that kept coming south. What began as patrols against a single NVA division became a three year war of trenches, artillery barrages, and rotating battalions that would not have looked out of place on the Western Front.
