This timelapse follows the construction of Kalahari's $85 million, 75,000-square-foot indoor waterpark expansion in Wisconsin Dells, WI — the largest addition in the resort's history. This is the FIRST retractable roof all aluminum building in the Wisconsin Dells - home of the first indoor waterparks in the USA. This is also the first fully retractable roof building enclosure by OpenAire for Kalahari Resorts! At the heart of the project is a first-of-its-kind-in-the-Dells retractable roof building by OpenAire, an all-aluminum structure with a slide cupola rising 90 feet and an open roof that floods the new waterpark with natural light and fresh air at the push of a button. Once complete, the space will house the Watering Hole pool, Coral Cove kids' area, Lost Lagoon spa whirlpool, The Grotto swim-up bar, and three brand-new WhiteWater slides: the Wild Wildebeest, Green Python, and Cheetah Mat Racers.
