Learn the German alphabet and everyday greetings — explained in Tamil and English. Episode 1 of the A1.1 beginner course. In this first lesson we cover the full German alphabet A–Z including the umlauts Ä, Ö, Ü and ß, with pronunciation written in Tamil script. Then we move to greetings you'll use every day in Germany — Hallo, Moin, Guten Morgen, Guten Tag, Guten Abend, Gute Nacht, Tschüss and Auf Wiedersehen — plus when to use formal vs informal German, thanking and apologising in a shop (Danke, Danke schön, Bitte, Entschuldigung), and what to say when someone sneezes (Gesundheit). We finish with example conversations and a quick quiz.
