Asakusabashi Station is located in 1-chome Asakusabashi, Taito-ku, Tokyo. JR East's Sobu Main Line branch line (operated by local trains on the Chuo and Sobu lines) and the Asakusa Line of the Toei Subway are connected to this station. Because Asakusabashi was connected to the Nikko Highway, wholesalers and manufacturing industries have gathered since ancient times, and it has developed as a town of manufacturing. The doll shops "Kyugetsu" and "Kitoku" were both founded in the Edo period. It is also a witness to the history of the city. Edo-dori is lined with shops selling stationery, fireworks, toys, and paper products, creating a unique cityscape. Asakusa Bridge on the right bank of the Sumida River.
