Pianist Nicholas McCarthy performs Scriabin's Nocturne for the left hand in the ABC Classic studios in Melbourne. Nicholas McCarthy is the first left-hand-only pianist to graduate from the Royal College of Music. Born without his right hand, McCarthy also focused on repertoire built by Wittgenstein, and his own arrangements. McCarthy made his Australian debut with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra when he visited in October 2025.
