SQUARING A TRAILER HITCH WITH IT'S AXLE (CUSTOM TRAILER MODIFICATION - TRAILER HITCH REPAIR)

I’m modifying an old trailer of mine for a temporary fire fighting rig for when I’m on a job on-site welding. I’m typically in rural and pasture areas so it’s always been a danger so this safety precaution and “insurance” for myself and my customers is a long time coming. This rig will also give me some more flexibility to weld on days I haven’t been able to in the past. As I’m building this trailer I’m going to share how I square a trailer hitch to its axle.
