Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (Speedrun Attempt) (Part 2) [2026 05 02 04 59 52]

I've said most of what I wanted to say in the first part, but there's things I'll draw attention to. First of all, the Western Custom is indeed really good. Second, it will NOT be able to save me if I play poorly, which is evident in the 7th Nemesis Encounter. I swear if I pressed the inventory button a frame (or two) later, I would have been DEAD. Third, I already had the intention of using the infinite ammo for the revolver (so I can deal with Hunters) since I started the speedrun, but that was made doubly sure after the 7th Nemesis Encounter. You can also see how squishy and moldy my brain is at 5 AM via the water treatment puzzle. ALSO after remembering once seeing the footage, I had the cleanest Gravedigger encounter as well as Gravedigger fight, so I'm proud of myself for that. A note for myself for future attempts if I ever make them: the dodging mechanic is cool and all, but sometimes just running away is better, especially with some of Nemesis's attacks in his Second Form. Like I can react quickly enough if I'm using the Western Custom, and I remember eventually doing that for the penultimate fight with Nemesis. I think I only did it once at the end, but it's good to remember this for later.
