I WAS PAINTED SHUT 🖤 | Gothic Alternative Metal

Female Fronted Gothic Metal | Original song by Ecos de Sal Nobody locked you in. They just kept painting over the window, year after year, until it wouldn't open anymore. And the worst part? You were holding the brush too. 💬 What was your window? Tell us in the comments. 🎧 Headphones recommended · 🇪🇸 Subtítulos en español disponibles (CC) ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ I WAS PAINTED SHUT is an original Gothic Metal song by Ecos de Sal: dark mezzo-soprano vocals, whispered verses, operatic choirs, haunting piano and heavy down-tuned guitars over cinematic orchestration. Built as an emotional metal ballad, it tells the story of someone who slowly realizes they have become trapped inside the life they built for themselves. It is not about being rescued — it is about finding the strength to open the window with your own hands and breathe again. From intimate piano passages to massive orchestral climaxes, the song moves through fear, isolation, hope and redemption. If you love Female Fronted Gothic Metal, Alternative Metal and emotionally driven cinematic music — Evanescence, Within Temptation, Lacuna Coil, Beyond The Black, Ad Infinitum — this one is for you. 🖤 CREDITS Lyrics & Concept: Julian Crane & J.
