Hebrews 2:1 | You Will Drift

I live near the beach, so I'm on it a lot. A couple of years ago I walked past a mom absolutely lighting into her two boys. They'd drifted almost a hundred feet down the shore while she was cooling off in the water. She had told them to stay put. They never moved a step. The Gulf moved them. Most people think of the Gulf as a big lake. It's not. It's connected to every ocean in the world, which means it has a current. Sometimes raging, sometimes gentle, but always there — and if you're in it, you will drift. Usually without ever feeling it happening. In this "Briefings From the Good Book," I'm in Hebrews 2:1.
