"WEARY BLUES": JON-ERIK KELLSO, RICKY ALEXANDER, ALBANIE FALLETTA, SEAN CRONIN (Bohemia 1.09.20)

Pre-pandemic joys: they seem like effusions of joy from another world. But how they uplift! Yes, the WEARY BLUES is neither of those things, especially when delightfully exploded from within by Jon-Erik Kellso, trumpet; Ricky Alexander, clarinet; Albanie Falletta, resonator guitar; Sean Cronin, string bass. Recorded with gratitude by Michael Steinman for JAZZ LIVES -- one of those brief shining moments at the much-missed Cafe Bohemia, 15 Barrow Street, New York City. May these times come again!
