Food and medicine is growing freely and abundantly all around us even in major cities like New York City. In this foraging walk, I take you through Prospect Park in Brooklyn to introduce you to some of the common plants to forage. Many of these are plants that New Yorkers know by site, but have never realized are food and medicine. I also share key concepts to support you on your foraging journey and encouragement for critical thinking and reconnecting with Earth. This includes the safety, sustainability and legality of foraging. Filmed July 30th, 2026 on 292 of foraging 100% of my food and medicine for a year. Join the foraging revolution!
