This is the final music videos Joe recorded. At first glance, To The River may look like a song about baptism, surrender, and new beginnings. But the message runs much deeper. Joe had already been baptized years before. The scenes in this video were not recreating a moment of salvation, they were revealing a lifelong journey of surrender and giving our life over to him daily. The prophetic message of "To The River" is that God’s mercy runs deeper than our failures, His grace reaches further than our mistakes, and a life surrendered to Christ can continue bearing fruit long after that life is gone. Joe’s story was never one of perfection. It was a story of redemption. He knew what it was to be rescued, restored, and relentlessly pursued by the love of Christ. He also knew what it was to face real battles. Through it all, he never stopped pointing people to Jesus. Only days after filming this video, Joe returned to a place connected to some of his deepest struggles. Soon after, he stepped from this life into eternity.
