Brent Spence Bridge Corridor: $3.6 Billion, 8 Miles & 160,000 Vehicles a Day | How It’s Being Built.

How do you rebuild one of America’s most important freight corridors while keeping traffic moving? The Brent Spence Bridge Corridor Project is transforming approximately 8 miles of I-71/I-75 between Cincinnati, Ohio, and Covington, Kentucky. With an estimated project cost of $3.6 billion, this massive infrastructure program will reshape one of the busiest transportation corridors in the region. At the heart of the project is a new double-decker companion bridge immediately west of the existing Brent Spence Bridge. The new bridge will carry interstate traffic, while the existing bridge will be rehabilitated and used primarily for local traffic.
