How Satan Gains Authority Over Families, Cities and Nations | Beware of Men Who Sell Kingdoms

How Satan Gains Authority Over Families, Cities and Nations Who gave Satan authority over the kingdoms of this world, and how do people surrender spiritual authority, dignity and generational influence in exchange for temporary power? In this episode of Believers’ Walk of Dominion, A. Joshua Adedeji teaches from Luke 4:1–8 and exposes the dangerous exchanges that take place when individuals, families and leaders trade God-given authority for wealth, fame, political advantage, influence or personal satisfaction. Satan claimed that the authority and glory of the kingdoms of the world had been delivered to him. That statement raises an important question: Who delivered them? This message explains how authority can be transferred, surrendered or misused, and why believers must never seek from darkness what God has promised to provide through His Kingdom. IN THIS MESSAGE, YOU WILL LEARN: • The difference between spiritual power and legitimate authority • Why authority requires permission, agreement or surrender • How individuals can exchange purpose and dignity for temporary advantage • How leaders may surrender the future of families, communities and nations • Why dissatisfaction and frustration make people vulnerable to destructive choices • How temporary power can cost a generation its true glory • Why believers must never seek provision, influence or success from darkness • How Jesus resisted Satan’s offer without compromising His identity or assignment • How to stand in Christ and recover surrendered spiritual authority • How to live by the values, provision and authority of God’s Kingdom POWER IS NOT THE SAME AS AUTHORITY: A person may possess power without having the legitimate authority to use it. Power describes the ability to act. Authority describes the recognised right or permission to act. Satan may possess destructive power, but he cannot operate without boundaries. The experiences of Job, the temptation of Jesus and other biblical accounts show that spiritual activity operates within limits, permissions and agreements. This is why believers must be careful about the decisions they make during seasons of frustration, delay, financial pressure or disappointment. A temporary solution can become a costly spiritual exchange. Do not surrender your calling for convenience. Do not exchange your dignity for access. Do not trade generational influence for temporary power. Do not seek from darkness what God can provide. This message concludes with prayers for the restoration of lost authority, dignity and glory over individuals, families, communities, cities and nations.
