In 1985, Apple sued the man who had started it.
Steve Jobs was still Apple's chairman, with no job left to do. This is how it happened.
Steve Jobs never ran Apple until 1997. In the 1980s he was its co-founder, its public face and its chairman. Then he hired a CEO from Pepsi, bet everything on the Macintosh, and watched it stall. What followed was a board vote, a secret coup timed for a business trip to China, an office he nicknamed "Siberia" and a resignation letter. Within a week of that letter, Apple took him to court. This video follows each step, and then the unlikely way back.
