Last year, when I was 16, I submitted my application to MIT and got in (public high school in NJ). In this video, I am sharing some details about my stats and extracurriculars and also how I ended up applying two years early. Feel free to reach out with any questions, or leave your questions in the comments!
Also if enough ppl request I'll make an essays vidео
Also for anyone wondering I'm filming from my dorm lol

A bit more about the whole grade skipping thing:
I skipped 2nd and 7th grades in school. Throughout elementary/middle school, I wasn't challenged enough and always felt like I didn't have anything in common with my peers. Fortunately, my parents were very encouraging and supported me every step of the way, especially my mom, since she was in a similar situation back when she was in school and understood exactly what I was going through. I am really grateful that I ended up skipping two grades, both because I could challenge myself academically to a greater extent and was also able to make friends much more easily (even though most of my friends are two years older than me). I ended up not waiting to apply to college, and now I am in the MIT class of 2028 :)
