🐶 Hot Dog Costumes on the Champs-Élysées Paris Sausage Walk

Join me for a 4K walk through the dog parade on the Champs-Élysées in Paris, with the Arc de Triomphe in the background. Paris Sausage Walk: dachshunds and their owners parade down the Champs-Élysées, Sunday, October 4, 2026. It's a charity walk that supports Teckels Sans Doux Foyer, an association that rescues and rehomes abandoned dachshunds. The Animal March (Marche des animaux): the first dog-friendly walk on the Champs-Élysées, organized by the Monceau Dog Club, open to dogs of all breeds and their owners. Date: [confirm]. 📍 PRACTICAL INFO Location: Avenue des Champs-Élysées, 8th arrondissement, Paris Metro: Charles de Gaulle–Étoile (line 1) for the Arc de Triomphe, or Champs-Élysées–Clemenceau (lines 1 and 13) These are one-off events, so check the organizers' pages for future dates before you plan a trip. 💡 TIPS Arrive early, since the best spots near the Arc fill up fast. Ask the owners before petting a dog, and keep your distance from nervous ones. Bring water, as there's little shade on the avenue. 🎥 MORE FROM SANA TRIPS The Village a King Tried to Protect (Moret-sur-Loing): [add link] Where Van Gogh Died (Auvers-sur-Oise): [add link] FREE Paris Rooftop View at Galeries Lafayette: [add link] 👍 If you love dogs as much as I do, please like, subscribe, and tell me in the comments what your dog would wear to this parade! 🐕 🗼 Follow Paris Mood on : TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@paris.moods?_...
