Fall is here, and we're visiting one of our favorite family traditions in Southeast Texas! Join us as we take a stroll through Shangri La Botanical Gardens and Nature Center in Orange, Texas, for their annual Scarecrow Festival! Every fall, local businesses and nonprofit organizations come together to create unique scarecrow displays using recycled and repurposed materials. It's a fun, creative way to celebrate the season while promoting sustainability and environmental awareness. But Shangri La is about much more than scarecrows! Throughout our walk, we'll explore beautiful landscapes, native Texas plants, water features, tropical greenhouses, and the incredible natural environment that makes this botanical garden so special.
