GPW2026 - I Bought A Scanner (No, Really This Time) - Lee Johnson

I have a lot of photographic projects on the go, and many of them are shot on film. I need to be able to scan that film to a high enough quality for: Large prints High quality reproductions in book form Archiving The problem? Scanning technology is dead. It's been dead for twenty years. No company is working in this space anymore so you have to figure out a solution yourself. That might include: dead operating systems, antique connectivity, closed source software that hasn't been updated in a decade, discontinued components, fractured online information, and other red herrings.
