Notes: *In 1959 & 1960 two artists sang the same song and one artist was chosen who was the 'best' *In 1961, 1963, 1980, 2008, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 & 2020 the songs were internally chosen. *In many years the artists were chosen internally and the public was allowed to choose the song this happened in: 1964, 1967, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1979, 1987, 1988, 1993, 1994, 1997, 2009 & 2011. *In 1975 the second place wasn't revealed #Eurovision #Netherlands #Preselection *In 1982 Three artists sung three song and the best song was chosen and after the artist to sing that song at Eurovision. *We did not compete in Eurovision in 1985, 1991, 1995 & 2002 *In 2007 Edsilia had different songs but made the final decision herself *In 2010 it was the other way around the song was already known and the artist had to be chosen.
