Take Me Into Your Presence, Lord | Psalms of King David Sung with Harp and Choir

Take Me Into Your Presence, Lord is a prayer that runs through the Psalms, and every song here comes back to that longing for God's presence. 🕊️ From the thirsting soul of Psalm 42 to the plea of Psalm 51, "cast me not away from thy presence," these are new sung settings of Psalm-based paraphrases with a few brief lines of Scripture, carried by harp, warm voices, cello, gentle strings and a small choir. Some of these Psalms carry King David's name and others do not. The shepherd king at his harp is the heart of this channel, a picture of worship rather than a claim about who wrote each Psalm. Male and female voices take turns with the verses and meet in quiet harmony, a soft spoken reflection rests over bare harp, and the music moves slowly without percussion, leaving room to breathe and pray. Let it accompany your morning and evening prayer, your worship at home, or a quiet hour of study when you want to keep your mind on God's presence. If your heart is anxious or weary, or you are lying down for rest and sleep, may these Psalms remind you that God's presence is near in every season. Wherever you listen, we hope this music becomes a simple invitation to rest in God's presence. 🙏 #psalms #worship #godspresence #kingdavid #harp #scripture #prayer #peace #sleep #sungpsalms 🙏 Support this channel: https://ko-fi.com/shepherdkingpsalms Thank you for your prayers and support.
