Distant Early Warning

Gayle Benson has had enough. After two weeks of embarrassing losses to the Falcons and Vikings, she fired a the 16” guns of the USS Missouri across the bow of the Saints front office and coaching staff -naming both Mickey and Kellen in the process. It’s a move similar to the promise Tom Benson made in 1999 during the final death throes of the Mike Ditka regime -using the same terms: “unacceptable” and that things must be fixed. Tonight, Allen Ulrich is flying solo talking about Gayle’s statement, Drew’s induction into the Ring Of Honor, some of Drew’s comments during the Vikings game, and Mike Ditka legacy on the game and and New Orleans.
