Some Of The Times of Today's Visitors (for those that would like to see specific birds) - more to follow: Crows/ravens/jays: 7.06; 7.52; 11.48; 13.20 Great spotted woodpeckers: 7.49 (m); 7.56 (f); 11.28.50 Finches (eg goldfinches, greenfinches and chaffinches): Tits (eg blue, great, coal, willow & long tailed): 6.49; 7.02; 7.31; 7.43; 7.46; 9.01.52; 9.33 Robins: 7.15 Doves/Pigeons (eg collared doves, rock pigeons and wood pigeons): 8.03 Starlings: 9.11; 9.32; 9.34; 12.12 Other birds (eg wrens/songthrush/bramblings etc): Variety of birds (more than 4 species): 7.51; 9.33 Multiple crows: 7.53; 7.54 My apologies for the brightness at times today, I will adjust the positions of the cameras again later, to try to avoid so much glare. Unfortunately, the camera recording the tree was moved whilst I was away from home earlier (at 15.04.40), presumably by the rather large pigeons landing in it repeatedly! There are also some very bright sun spots between 15.26.26 to 15.50, so you may wish to skip those times, a shame, as the birds were still active. I will edit out the brightest times after 15.26 after the livestream has ended. There are lots of other interesting times throughout the day, if you see something you want to point out to others, tell me the time and I will add your timestamp and credit you for spotting it (unless you let me know you’d rather be anonymous): Most of the birds visit between 7am and 4.30pm, with smaller clusters of visits before and after those times. There's generally a constant stream of blue, coal and great tits, greenfinches and goldfinches throughout the day, with less frequent visits from robins, great spotted woodpeckers, collared doves, crows and other varieties of tits, as well as more occasional visits from other birds that visit, such as dunnocks, wrens, sparrows and song thrush. There may be short periods where the birds stop visiting, if they are startled or sense a bird of prey, but these are usually only brief pauses. I hope watching the many birds that visit each day brings you as much peace, tranquility and joy, as it does for me. ________________________________________________________ If you enjoy the channel and would like to contribute towards feeding the birds, you can do so via "Buy me a Coffee" here: https://buymeacoffee.com/growingisgreat. Any amount will be gratefully received and donations can be as small as you like, unlike some sites which have £5 as the minimum amount. Please don't worry if you can't contribute, I hope you all enjoy the channel, regardless. Thank you.
