The villagers join together in familiar songs, and eventually, they can't help but dance the traditional ritka csárdás couple dance from Ördöngösfüzes.
This central Transylvania village is called Fizeșu Gherlii in Romanian and is populated equally with ethnic Romanians and ethnic Hungarians. The men break out and dance the slower men's dance, called ritka magyar followed by the faster men's dance or sűrű magyar. The couple dances retain the same vocabulary of steps as the music keeps getting faster. Also common are the rhymed shouting called csujjogatás, a kind of teasing, witty repartee.
