The Goulburn Valley Mooroopna Shepparton and Cashel

The Vagabond visited Mooroopna, Shepparton and Cashel in September of 1884 as he continued his trip along the Goulburn Valley. Thanks to the nice people of the Shepparton Heritage Centre who took an interest in my project. I’m happily continuing to follow in the Vagabond’s footsteps. As several of the buildings which were written about no longer exist, I found some old wood engravings and used AI to clean them up and colourise them. I hope they help you visualise what the Vagabond wrote about. Let me know if they help. The pictures were virtually all newspaper engravings sourced from Trove and then colourised. De Soyre St, Cashel was created from a picture on the information board.
