Hark Up Music - I Am Not Alone feat. Rin Tarsy (The story of the Talsma Family)

Not only does Hark Up strive to share the message of the Gospel, but we work to tell the stories of those who have experienced God's faithfulness, His healing hand, and His never ending love in extremely tangible ways. In 2015, 13 year old David Talsma was tragically killed in a car accident when a distracted driver rammed into the minivan his sister was driving. Over a year later, his sister Aliya shared her story publicly for the first time in a powerful documentary that debuted at the 2016 Hark Up Christmas Show. In that documentary it was revealed that during the sentencing of the at fault driver, David’s father Jason surprised everyone by embracing the man and offering his forgiveness. He then presented a bracelet to him that said “I AM a Difference Maker.” Aliya took the Hark Up stage and played her violin alongside soloist Rin Tarsy Jandernoa in the powerful ballad “I Am Not Alone.” Last year for our 20th Anniversary show, we paid homage to David, Aliyah, and all those who have gone through tremendous loss such as the Talsma family’s by bringing back “I Am Not Alone.” We ask that for Giving Tuesday tomorrow, you consider donating to Hark Up Music via our Mighty Cause link below so that we can continue to share stories like that of the Talsma family. https://givingtuesday.mightycause.com...
