New Life North - The Power of Scriptures & the Purpose of Sermons - Daniel Grothe - August 9, 2026

Welcome to New Life Church! Join us live as we lift up the name of Jesus together! 🙌 Scripture is not a religious habit. It is the breath of God given to His people to keep them alive, growing, and equipped for life. The Greek word Paul uses in 2 Timothy 3:16, 'theopneustos,' means God-breathed, connecting the Word directly to the same breath that animated Adam in Genesis and filled the church at Pentecost. When we stop opening the Bible, we shrink in faith, courage, and our capacity to pour life into others. But when we stay with it, God speaks into the specific circumstances of our lives. Gathering with the church to hear Scripture proclaimed is not optional. It is where the breath of God does its deepest work. Every follower of Jesus is called to carry the Word and let it overflow onto the people around them. If this message encouraged you, we would love to meet you in person.
