I Found a Peacock Bass Hotspot in a Florida Canal! #FloridaFishing #PeacockBass

I ALMOST GAVE UP… THEN CAUGHT 4 PEACOCK BASS! 🎣🔥 Sometimes the best fishing adventures happen when things don’t go according to plan! In today’s episode of The Maq Cast, I’m exploring the Princeton Canal in South Florida, searching for peacock bass in some incredible freshwater spots. The adventure starts with me walking through water in my fishing bibs, making my way through a trail alongside a lake, and trying to find some action. But after casting and getting absolutely NO BITES, I knew it was time to change locations. Instead of giving up, I decided to keep exploring. I eventually made my way toward a water-control structure where the freshwater and saltwater systems meet. That’s when I spotted one of the BIGGEST peacock bass I’ve ever seen in this area! Unfortunately, that monster wasn’t interested in biting. But the adventure wasn’t over… I kept fishing and ended up landing FOUR beautiful peacock bass! 🐟🐟🐟🐟 This is what fishing is all about. Exploring new spots, learning the water, staying patient, and never knowing what might happen on the next cast. Whether you’re into peacock bass fishing, freshwater fishing, baitcasters, or exploring hidden Florida canals, come along for the adventure! 🎣 MY FISHING SETUP • Reel: Shimano SLX 151HG Baitcaster (Left-Hand Retrieve) • Rod: St. Croix Fishing Rod • Main Line: 30 lb Beyond Braid • Leader: 15 lb Leader • Hook: Circle Hook 📍 Location: Princeton Canal, South Florida 🔥 SUPPORT THE MAQ CAST!
