Kevin Houben opent het werk heel mystiek en sfeervol, alsof de mist langzaam boven het water optrekt. Daarna slaat de sfeer om: de muziek wordt ritmisch, energiek en bouwt uit tot een krachtig epos dat de ontembare kracht en de geschiedenis van de vallei laat horen.
