It’s weird because you talk to people, not online, and everyone seems to Love Lanterns. Everyone seems to be so in love with Hal Jordan and John Stewart and the direction HBO Lanterns took the world of Green Lantern in. But then you go online and you would think that Tom King had personally tried to burn the fanbase down. But Yeah, I Loved Lanterns. Do I think it’s perfect, no, far from it, but in the new blossoming DCU, DC Cinematic Universe, Lanterns is the exact kind of bold swing I want James Gunn DC’s Universe to be taking. And I found myself connecting to it so deeply. Sure, the Kerry stuff is messy and Guy Gardner gets down dirty, but I can look past those things and really find so much power in the story they are telling about generational trauma and our collective fear of becoming that which harmed us. Either ways, the boy Sinestro need to bring back Kyle Chandler Hal Jordan by any means necessary and I can’t wait to see Aaron Pierre in Man of Tomorrow. I hope, despite most likely disagreeing, you found some enjoyment in this HiTop Films Lanterns Review. Next week will be another HiTop Films DC Universe Video, this time about Clayface. 🔶 SUPPORT US ON PATREON 🔶   / hitopfilms   🐦 @hitopfilms 🐦 #lanterns #HiTopFilms ‪@toggleorg‬ #togglevpn #ad Music: Ziv Morgan - Major Ace Ofer Koren - Wok like a Cowboy Adv3n7ur35 - Nightfall - Instrumental version IamDayLight - Funky Cat - No Backing Vocals Castle Heist - Are You Ready Randy Sharp - Have a Treat The North - Dust and Danger Flint - Strings Attached - No Backing Vocals Michael Vignola - Anomaly Julian Cassia - When the Joke Gets Heavy Ehekatl Arizmendi - Destino - Instrumental version Assaf Ayalon - Going Back Semo - For a Fistful of Spaghetti Tom Meira Armony - Nox - No Backing Vocals Elifas Sonaru - Sweetest Day for You Oran Alaloof - Dark Apoko Crazy Paris - Fun Alon Peretz - Orchestrated Tragedy Ian Post - Never Gonna Get Me Ian Post - This Blue Moon Flint - Too Many Pixels Roman P - Cassandra Just for Kicks - Oh the Sunset Oran Alaloof - Get Away - Instrumental version Alon Peretz - Tired Eyes Kyle Preston - Bear Dreams When Mountains Move - Breathe Well
