The Butterfly Lovers ('Liang Zhu'') is a Chinese legend, it was one of China's four great folktales. The Butterfly Lovers' Violin Concerto adapted the ancient legend and it features a solo violin played using some Chinese techniques. The instrument used in the video is called Erhu, it is a traditional Chinese instrument with only two strings. It is also known in the Western World as the Chinese violin. 梁祝是中国的传奇故事，是中国四大民间故事之一。 《梁祝》小提琴协奏曲改编自该古老的传说，视频中使用的乐器叫二胡，是一种只有两根弦的中国传统乐器。它在西方世界也被称为“中国的小提琴”。
