🌊 Where does the sea begin, and where does it end? This BLUE PLANET ocean wildlife documentary in 4K takes you on a journey across the ocean’s hidden borders, from wet sand at the tide line to the dark twilight zone, to ask one question: are the lines we draw on the sea real, or does life simply cross them?
Along the way we meet land crabs marching to the waves, marine iguanas, mudskippers, garden eels, cleaner wrasse, bumphead parrotfish, reef sharks, gray whales, striped marlin, ocean sunfish, sperm whales and the glowing animals of the deep. Beneath the surface, borders do not divide life. They gather it.
🐠 WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Why the shore is a rhythm, not a line, and how a fish and a lizard cross it from opposite sides
How mangrove roots quietly stock coral reefs with young fish
Why a hunter lets a tiny fish swim inside its mouth at a cleaning station
What the “wall of mouths” at the edge of a reef is, and why the edge is the busiest place on the reef
How striped marlin hunt a sardine bait ball, and why their stripes flare just before they strike
Why the open blue only looks empty, and how a navy sonar in 1942 found a false seafloor that was alive
How a shipwreck becomes a reef, and why the sea is not equally generous at every depth
