Sunday of the 28th Week in Ordinary Time, Matthew 22:1-14 The Invitation of Grace,

Invitation is a grace, but the wedding garment is a responsibility. God has freely called us, unqualified as we are, to the wedding banquet of salvation. However, simply entering the banquet hall is not enough. The one who did not wear the "wedding garment" was ultimately cast into the darkness. This garment signifies our life of repentance in response to God's love. While sitting in the banquet hall under the name of a believer, are we still wearing the worn-out clothes of hatred and worldly greed? Receiving the invitation is God's mercy, but living as a true Christian worthy of it is our duty. Today, let us carefully put on the garment of forgiveness and love, and fully share in the joy of the Lord.
