Here's what changed in AI this week, and what you can actually do with each update: Claude Sonnet 5.5: Anthropic's new Sonnet model is over 30% faster than Sonnet 5 and costs up to 30% less per task, at the same price of $2 / $10 per million tokens. It scored 70.6% on Terminal-Bench 4.0, up from 10.3%. Gemini 4 Argon: Google's new Gemini model can generate up to 1 million output tokens in a single response, up from 64,000, built for long coding, research and cybersecurity work. OpenAI Dots: ChatGPT agents that get their own computer and access to thousands of apps, so you can hand them real tasks and let them keep working while you're away. Microsoft MAI voice models: MAI-Transcribe-2-Streaming and MAI-Voice-2.1 Flash make voice AI agents respond in real time, with no awkward pauses, across 60 languages. ElevenLabs Eleven v4 Turbo: the fastest, most expressive ElevenLabs voice model, with about 100 ms latency, and it can respond to how people feel. GPT-6.1 Sol: OpenAI's new model gets close to GPT-6 Astra on coding and computer use at a much lower price, with multi-agent work in beta. Qwen3.8-Flash-Next: Alibaba's early look at Qwen4, trained at one-ninth the cost and priced at 16 cents per million input tokens. AI becomes "Super Intelligence": a new US executive order tells federal agencies to use "SI" instead of "AI".
